I think people need to be less rude about the whole

HAVE YOU READ THE COMICS OR HAVE YOU ONLY WATCHED THE MOVIES 

for anything marvel/DC

I mean people should totally read comics from whatever movie or series they enjoy because the comics are great and are awesome for background information/additional stories

but just because someone doesn’t read the comics it doesn’t mean that they’re a bad person or a bad fan, some people can’t afford to spend money on comics (some are stupidly expensive) and some people are simply just into the movie side of the fandom

there’s no need to be rude! if people are enthusiastic about something then awesome! don’t go around telling people to leave a fandom if they haven’t read the comics!

people who watch the movies are cool

people who read the comics are cool

people who do both are cool
